East Palo Alto to hold 26th anniversary parade, community celebration on July 4 East Palo Alto will commemorate its 26th birthday and the country's Independence Day with a parade and community celebration on July 4. The festivities will begin 9 a.m. at Cesar Chavez Elementary School with parade-goers leaving the school around 10 a.m. for a march to Martin Luther King Park.
